Mechanical Engineer Internship @ AGS Automotive Systems Inc.

From May 2023 to May 2024, I completed a 12-month full-time internship at AGS Automotive Systems' Oshawa plant as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for mechanical design and special projects.

My tasks includes:

• Leading the ​2D/3D CAD models, mechanical design.
• Designing production lines for automotive parts manufacturing, process engineering.
• Mechanics simulation (FEA).
• Conducting ergonomic studies, managing labor efficiency.

Used for the automatic rough polishing of stamped metal bumper surfaces.

Bumper Surface Treatment, overhead monorail re-model & design

The surface of the metal bumpers requires chrome coating. During the coating process, the bumpers are mounted on a moving buggy that travels along a one-way overhead monorail. 

Designing the track layout and controlling its operation time is crucial for production efficiency.
